The DP Open was started in 2017 by a group of UW soccer alumni who suddenly lost one of their own to sudden cardiac arrest. All proceeds from the tournament are donated to the Nick of Time Foundation 501(c)(3).

DP Open NIGHT
October is Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness month.
The DP Open will host its first annual partnership with UW Men’s Soccer to honor Daniel, build awareness for SCA and teach fans and players how to do CPR and use an AED.

A MESSAGE FROM DR. JONATHAN DREZNER
Dr. Drezner is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Director of the UW Medicine Center for Sport Cardiology at UW. He’s also the Team Physician for the Seattle Seahawks, the Medical Director for the Nick of Foundation and a major advocate for the DP Open.
